CAREER GOAL

To use the technical and interpersonal skills I have learned to build a successful career in the beauty industry. To create an experience for each client that represents the beautiful work I can do as well as the beautiful work of art they can become.

• Technical Coursework includes training and instruction in haircutting and design; massage techniques for the head, hands and feet; manicure and pedicure safety policies and procedures;

• Business Coursework includes greeting guest and consultation, product knowledge, business card distribution and marketing strategies.

• Activities include fashion shows, on-site career fairs and promotional services offered to guest throughout the year.

• Currently participating in the night courses offered at Aveda and therefore require another 1000/hrs (approx) to apply for license.

• Bachelor of Science in Liberal Arts with a double emphasis in Psychology and Hospitality Management and Tourism.

• Researched and wrote content for two prominent breast pump sites including product reviews, breastfeeding guides and product descriptions.
